WA: Emergency services workers get special bible
Stories about how God has helped Australian emergency services workers deal with disaster-- including so-called acts of God -- feature in a new version of the New Testament.
The book is designed to provide solace in times of crisis and was produced with theaid of chaplains and emergency workers from around Australia.
A spokesman for West Australian Police and Emergency Services Minister MICHELLE ROBERTSsays the special edition of the bible is punctuated with stories from emergency workerswho have been helped by God during the course of their work.
The book -- produced by the Bible Society -- is called Beyond the Edge, a bible foremergency service workers.
