Rhodia to Sell U.S. and Brazilian Film Units.

Rhodia will sell its polyester films business to investment fund Rhne Capital (New York). Included in the deal is Rhodias $27-million/year operation at Bloomfield, NY and the $49.5-million/year films portion of its Brazilian subsidiary, RhodiaSter, at Cabo, Brazil.

The move marks Rhodias exit from the polyester films business.
